Gliese Capital — A Distressed-Asset Investment Platform
A marketing site for a private equity firm investing in distressed and undervalued assets across emerging markets — built to read as institutional and bankable.

Gliese Capital buys distressed and undervalued assets in high-growth emerging markets and turns them around — targeting valuations 20–40% below market and exiting after operational recovery. The mandate spans mining, energy and infrastructure, real estate, and agriculture across Central Asia and South America, with offices in London, Dubai, New York, and Almaty. The site has one job: make a firm with that kind of mandate read as serious money, not a pitch.
The challenge
Distressed-asset investing in emerging markets carries an instant credibility tax. The site had to signal discipline before it said anything, and organize a genuinely complicated story — four sectors, a wide deal range, two regions, a “bankable pipeline” framed around MIGA protection and DFI backing — without burying any of it. An LP or counterparty needs to orient in seconds. The brief was the restraint a capital allocator expects, with none of the noise that makes a financial site feel like a brochure.
The approach
We built on Next.js with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, structured so the firm’s economics and geography lead. The page walks from the pipeline and target returns into sector theses, then into the three-step strategy — Research & Due Diligence, Funding & Execution, Value Creation & Exit — and a country-level read on Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru. Typography and pacing carry the institutional tone: confident, spare, quick to load on any connection.
What we built
- A Hero module leading with the firm’s bankable-pipeline positioning and headline figures
- A Services section breaking out the four investment theses — Mining & Resources, Energy & Infrastructure, Real Estate & Development, Agriculture & Commodities
- A Geographies component contrasting Central Asia and South America with GDP-growth and market-size context per country
- A MarketInsights section framing the “20–40% below market” acquisition strategy and the three-step turnaround model
- A Contact form wired to a Next.js API route with Nodemailer for direct deal-flow inquiries
- Dedicated Risk Disclosure, AML Policy, Privacy, and Terms pages for compliance posture
The outcome
The result earns trust before the first call. That discipline is the same whether the client manages a fund or a storefront — start a project with us and you get the same standard.
